New small group fitness classes

Willoughby Leisure Centre is excited to introduce Teen Fitness, Body Blast and Strength across seven different classes starting on Monday 30 October 2023. Each class, which will be held in the Training and Recovery Zone, has a capacity of 8 participants to ensure a more personalised workout to help our members achieve their fitness goals. Class details are as follows:

Teen Fit

Days: Monday and Wednesday

Times: 4:30pm to 5:15pm

Class Description:

The Teen Fit class is designed for teens aged 13 to 15. This program is all about empowering teenagers with the essential skills and knowledge they need to improve cardiovascular fitness, building strength and power. Our qualified instructors are committed to ensuring that each teen reaches their full potential, making the Teen Fit class a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

In our small-group environment, we'll guide teens through safe and effective weightlifting techniques while keeping the atmosphere fun and motivating. This class is an excellent choice for teenagers who want to enhance their overall fitness and strength, as well as those with specific athletic aspirations or pre-season training needs.

Body Blast

Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Times: 5:30pm to 6:15pm

Class Description:

Body Blast is a high-intensity workout program that is designed to challenge and your entire body. This dynamic fitness class combines various elements, including cardio exercises to get your heart pumping, resistance training to build strength and muscle tone, and core exercises to enhance your stability and core strength.

This workout is suitable for individuals of all fitness levels. You have the flexibility to adjust the intensity of the exercises based on your comfort level, making it accessible to a wide range of participants.

Body Blast offers personal attention in a small group setting, targeting your entire body and fitness components like endurance, power, and strength. Each session introduces unique exercises, keeping you motivated with fresh, exciting workouts every week.

Don't forget to bring your motivation, a towel, and a water bottle to make the most of this exhilarating workout.

Days: Tuesday and Friday

Times: 7:00am to 7:45am

Class Description:

The focus of this class is strength development, technique enhancement, and skill progression in a supportive and motivating small group setting.

In this class, discover that strength training is not just about powerlifting and sculpted muscles. It's a comprehensive approach that aids in fat burning, weight loss, toning, conditioning, and enhancing cognitive function. Workouts are adaptable to suit all fitness levels and individual needs, ensuring you lift weights correctly.

Every week, you'll experience new challenges and advanced movements that will push your limits and help you achieve your fitness goals.
