As the major upgrade of Willoughby Leisure Centre continues to progress, we want to keep the community informed and up-to-date on any upcoming work that may affect your experience at the Centre.

While the Health Club and Sports Hall have remained open during the construction of the new aquatic facility, there will be times when these spaces need to close for essential works to ensure the facility meets modern standards.

Roof Replacement

The roof replacement was recognised as essential work to maintain the integrity of the building and ensure long-term protection over the existing structure. These works are an important component of the upgrade and necessary to improve weather resistance, energy efficiency, and overall safety.
