Netball
Netball is one of Australia's most popular team sports, bringing together players of all ages and skill levels in a fun, fast-paced and supportive environment. Combining teamwork, strategy and athleticism, netball is an excellent way to stay active while building friendships and enjoying healthy competition.
Whether you're looking for a social game with friends, training with your team or participating in an organised competition, netball provides opportunities for everyone to get involved. Suitable for beginners through to experienced players, netball is a fantastic way to connect with your local community and enjoy the many benefits of team sport.
Why play netball?
Build teamwork skills
Netball is built around communication, cooperation and teamwork. Players work together to move the ball down the court, create scoring opportunities and defend against opponents. Participating in netball helps develop valuable teamwork and leadership skills that can be applied both on and off the court.
Improve fitness and coordination
As a dynamic court sport, netball helps improve cardiovascular fitness, agility, balance and coordination. The combination of running, passing, catching and strategic movement provides a full-body workout while keeping players engaged and motivated.
Develop confidence
Netball encourages players to challenge themselves and learn new skills. Whether you're mastering the basics, improving your game or playing in regular matches, netball helps build confidence through participation, achievement and teamwork.
Create social connections
One of the greatest benefits of netball is the strong sense of community it creates. Players have the opportunity to meet new people, strengthen friendships and enjoy being part of a supportive and welcoming team environment.
