Active Kids & First Lap Vouchers

Active Kids Vouchers

The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the new Active Kids program. Parents, guardians and carers can apply for 2 x $100 vouchers per calendar year for each student enrolled in school. Children must be 5 years old to redeem the vouchers.

Vouchers may be used with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and membership costs for sport, fitness and active recreation activities.

Active Kids Vouchers can only be applied to programs running over a minimum of an 8 week program and therefore cannot be used for a holiday intensive program.

First Lap Vouchers

The First Lap voucher program aims to make water safety education more accessible for NSW families, providing $100 vouchers for parents, guardians and carers of children aged 3-6 years. This will include children in kindergarten in 2021, or who are starting kindergarten in 2022 within the age limit.

Unlike the Active Kids vouchers  First Lap vouchers can be used towards a 5 day Intensive program or weekly learn to swim lessons delivered over a minimum of 5 sessions.
