Roadmap for reopening

Our plan to reopen Willoughby Leisure Centre has three stages. Each stage describes the services we hope to offer with the progressive easing of identified NSW Public Health Order restrictions.

Stage 2 of our reopening plan is currently in effect.

  • 1 person per 4 sqm social distancing rule.
  • Masks required in indoor facilities, except during strenuous exercise in the gym.
  • Facilities allowed to open for fully vaccinated* adults (16+) only. Unvaccinated children under 16 years of age may attend with fully vaccinated adult from household.
  • Maximum of 20 indoor group fitness participants where space allows.
  • No community sport.

  • Saturday and Sunday:
    7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

    *Health Club opens at 6:00 AM on weekdays. 
  • From 25 October, standard opening hours resume:

    Monday to Friday:
    5:30 AM* – 9:00 PM**

    Saturday and Sunday:
    7:00 AM – 7:00 PM**

    *Health Club opens at 6:00 AM on weekdays (Mon-Fri).
    **Pool closes 15 mins prior to facility close.

*Full vaccination defined as receiving two doses of ATAGI approved COVID-19 vaccine as per NSW Health advice. Persons with a valid COVID-19 vaccine medical contraindication (as per NSW Health) for the COVID-19 vaccine are also permitted entry.
