Hot Water Pump

The centre uses a lot of hot water to keep the pools and spa at nice temperatures, as well as providing hot water for your relaxing after-workout shower.  The ordinary pump used to pump the hot water around the centre consumed about the same electricity as 13 large houses.

The pump has been upgraded to a new computer controlled pump which can be managed to slow down the system during off-peak periods when the demand for hot water is low.

The pipe work and fittings around the pump have also been redesigned so the water can now flow efficiently.

Weight Loss: The new pump saves up to 100 tonnes CO2 per annum which is the same as taking 23 cars off the road for a year.
